Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering (one of the Transactions of Chinese Academy of Engineering, SCI-E indexed) Announcing a Special Issue on:
Marine Information Technology
Submission Deadline: 10 November 2017
Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering (FITEE for short) invites submissions in the area of Marine Information Technology.
Marine information gathering, transmission, processing, and fusion play important roles in many areas, such as marine science research, environmental expedition, resource exploitation, as well as security and defense. Owing to its specific application environment, Marine Information Technology has become a popular information science research area. Like other branches of information science, the development of Marine Information Technology over the last 30 years has benefited significantly from advances and achievements in general information and signal processing theories. However, the manner in which it highlights the close bonding among propagation physics, signal processing, and marine environment is seldom seen in other areas. This special issue will enlighten and guide the potential research communities about the recent progress in Marine Information Technology, and will encourage some of the leading research communities to present their state-of-the-art discoveries and future research directions.
Authors are encouraged to submit unpublished work related to new research topics on marine information technology from both theoretical and practical points of view. Priority will be given to manuscripts reporting insights along the following principal technical areas:
All submitted manuscripts must be written in English and must not be under consideration elsewhere for publication. The authors must follow the FITEE guidelines (http://www.zju.edu.cn/jzus/manuscript.php) for preparation of their manuscripts. Either Word or LaTex format is acceptable. When Word is used, please keep the layout of the text as simple as possible, e.g., single column, 1.5 lines spacing, 10.5 pt font size, Times New Roman font. When LaTex is used, a template is available at http://www.zju.edu.cn/jzus/download/FITEE_LaTex_template.zip
FITEE is an international peer-reviewed journal launched by the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and Zhejiang University, and co-published by Springer & Zhejiang University Press. FITEE aims to publish the latest implementation of applications, principles, and algorithms in the broad area of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
All articles published in this special issue will be indexed by SCI-E and will be available from Springerlink (http://www.springer.com/computer/journal/11714), www.zju.edu.cn/jzus, as well as http://engineering.cae.cn/fitee. Please note that all articles must undergo international peer review and Crosscheck processes before acceptance, to ensure that the special issue is of high quality, original, and thought-provoking.
We look forward to your contribution to this special issue. Please send your manuscript via http://www.editorialmanager.com/zusc/ based on the following dates:
