Research context:Detection of concealed objects on a person on the move. The sensor technology used for the detection is Radar imaging, coupled with infrared visual cameras.
Experience:The candidate should have experience in Industrial oriented R&D projects in any of the following domains: medical imaging, Radar imaging, security camera image analysis.
Mission:Development of algorithms for near field radar imaging and enhancement of the image with IR and visual cameras. The main issue is the extraction of features of the concealed objects. The image plane is changing which requires finding a compromise for faster processing. Good experience in using MATLAB tools is required. Knowledge of compressive sampling is an advantage.
