Funding is available for a PhD to start in October 2018, focusing on 'Camera traps, image analysis and wild mammal monitoring'. The PhD student will be based in Durham but will work in partnership with two CASE organisations: the Zoological Society of London and the Durham Wildlife Trust. The project would suit a candidate with a background in maths, statistics or computer sciences, but a strong interest in ecology, or a highly (and demonstrably) quantitative ecologist. Standard RCUK eligibility terms apply. Further information is available here:
Interested candidates should contact Dr Philip Stephens (email@example.com) in the first instance. The application deadline is February 2, 2018.
