Recently, mixing multi-band spectral and polarization acquisition into a bio-inspired hardware system has become an emerging research subject. The data coming from these systems are still under-exploited and very few out-of-the-lab applications have been demonstrated. On the other hand, computer vision and machine vision domains are demanding more and more data coming from different sources of measurements for applications like defect detection, surface property estimation or object recognition. In our case, we think that the first field needs imaging pipeline, along with computational imaging algorithm investigation, is still missing in the research field. We hope that the PhD project will allow us to tackle issues identified by the vision
