NICST’ 2013 France-China Days

NICST’ 2013 France-China Days is the second edition of a workshop organized by LIMOS (Laboratoire d’Informatique, de Modélisation et d’Optimisation des Systèmes) UMR CNRS 6158 and School of Computer Science and Technology of HIT: Harbin Institute of Technology, working together inside the Franco-Chinese CNRS International Associated Laboratory: Smart Computing for Sustainable Development.   The first NICST workshop was held in 2012 in HARBIN, CHINA.

The main goal of those France-China Days is to promote scientific cooperation between E.U and CHINA in the field of Computer Sciences and its applications to support sustainable development. So, it is, before all, a meeting place for researchers, PhD students and technological players on both European and Chinese sides wishing to explore new opportunities for establish partnership, exchange about theory and practice, propose new ideas and present scientific advances obtained in the context of international cooperation.

Scientific Scope

NICST’2013 France-China Days are made of scientific and technical presentations by both experimented senior and young researchers as well as by PhD students, which are related to the way Computing may be involved in the design of new services and systems which fits both emerging environmental and societal concerns and the need for economical growth. Covered topics are the following:

  • Wireless Sensor Networks, Mobile Networks
  • Web Services, Web Semantics, Internet of Things
  • System Interoperability, Enterprise Interoperability
  • Ubiquitous Computing, Cloud Computing
  • Dependable computing
  • Operations Research and Industrial Engineering
  • Planning and Scheduling

  • Image Processing and Analysis
  • Computer Aided Emerging Services: Intelligent Mobility, Remote Health Care,
  • Computer Aided Emerging Services: Smart Agriculture, Environmental Monitoring …

Paper Submission and Proceedings

Researchers wishing to participate into the NICST’2013 France-China Days are strongly invited to submit contributions in order to present original and previously unpublished works related to the general scope of the workshop.

Submitted papers will be refereed in a standard way. They should be written in WORD or PDFaccording to IEEE Paper for A4 Page Size, and not exceed 8 pages.

Authors are invited to visit NICST’2013 web site http://edss.isima.fr/workshop in order to download the NICST’2013 paper submission template. Accepted papers will be published inside NICST’ 2013 proceedings (paper and digital versions will be available and open access: ISBN 978-2-9544948-0-7 and EAN 9782954494807).

  • Paper submission: May 20, 2013
  • Paper submission deadline: June 30, 2013
  • Author notification: July 15, 2013
  • Final submission and registration opening: July 30, 2013
  • Conference date: September 18-20, 2013
