Image and signal processing have established their-self as a very important research area primarily due to the rapid development of sensors, communication technologies, databases, robotics, etc. The aim of this special session is to provide an opportunity for researchers interested in the advances, and applications of metaheuristics to image and signal processing, to meet and discuss the latest developments. 

Papers on all topics related to session’s topics are solicited. Prospective authors should submit papers via the online submission system of MIC 2015.
