Multimedia, Computer Vision and Image Processing Track

The track focuses on recent researches in multimedia, computer vision and image processing. It will pay a particular attention in developments of machine learning, coding and understanding techniques for multimedia contents, 2D/3D images and video signals. The track aims to bring together researchers from academia and industry, to identify and discuss technical challenges, exchange novel ideas, explore enabling technologies, and report latest research efforts in this field.

The topics of interest of the track include, but are not limited to:

  • Object recognition
  • Shape, Illumination, Shading and Texture
  • Data-Driven Geometry, Lighting and Materials
  • Surface representations
  • 3D reconstruction
  • 3D face analysis an facial rigging
  • 3D navigation and interfaces
  • 3D imaging, visualization, animation, virtual reality and 3DTV
  • Multimedia indexing, search, retrieval and browsing on the Web
  • Multimedia content analysis and understanding
  • Advanced descriptors and similarity metrics for Multimedia
  • Multimedia communication, networking and mobility
  • Multimedia vision, security, content protection and forensics
  • Multimedia quality assessment
  • Multimedia summarizing and visualization
  • Feature extraction and selection
  • Classification and clustering
  • Image/video enhancement and segmentation
  • Color, texture and motion analysis
  • Image/video compression, coding and watermarking
  • Tracking and real-time imaging
  • Pattern recognition
  • Machine learning
  • Medical imaging

Papers selected for presentation will appear in the Conference Proceedings, which will be published by the IEEE Computer Society and be submitted to IEEE Xplore for inclusion.

Extended versions of the best selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Int J. on Computer Vision & Signal Processing. It is an open-access and FREE journal:

Submissions guidelines

Regular Papers must be submitted electronically by the above deadline to AICCSA’15 ( Each paper will be evaluated by at least three reviewers. All manuscripts will be reviewed and judged on merits including originality, significance, interest, correctness, clarity, and relevance to the broader community. Submitted papers must include original work, and may not be under consideration for another conference or journal. They should also not be under review or be submitted to another forum during the review process. Authors should submit full papers or posters electronically following the instructions from the conference web site. . Authors of accepted papers/poster are expected to present their work at the conference. Submissions should not exceed 8 two-column, 8.5×11 inch pages (including figures, tables, and references) in 10 point fonts. Please include 5-10 keywords, complete postal and e-mail address, and fax and phone numbers of the corresponding author. If you have difficulties with electronic submission, please contact Technical Program Co-Chairs. Papers must not be published or under consideration to be published elsewhere.
Submitted papers that are deemed of good quality but that could not be accepted as regular papers will be accepted as short papers.
