2015 Interdisciplinary Symposium on Complex Systems (ISCS)

14-17 Septembre 2015 à Grenoble, France

The main aim of the 2015 Interdisciplinary Symposium on Complex Systems is to bring together researchers working on complex systems. We invite scientists, philosophers, researchers, engineers, and young students to submit their works, attend, or register for tutorials.

The main theme of this year is "How Nature Works".

Tutorials

  • A few examples of the importance of rare events in physics (Eric Bertin)
  • Dynamical systems in biology: from gene regulatory networks to patterns and form (Arezki Boudaoud)
  • Consensus, Flocking and Opinion Dynamics (Antoine Girard)
  • Dynamical Graphs Clustering (Nicolas Schabanel)

Keynote speakers

  • Jürgen Kurths (Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany)
  • Renzo L. Ricca (Dipartimento di Matematica e Applicazioni, Università di Milano Bicocca, Italy)
  • Demian Battaglia (Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization, Nonlinear Dynamics Department, University of Göttingen, Germany)
