Call for Papers IEEE AESS - France Chapter Technical Event – 8th June 2011
The Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) offers the opportunity to become deeply connected with the three pillars of the Aerospace, Electronic and Defense sector: Industry, Institutions and Research Centers.
The effective interaction between those pillars is the key element for the organization, systems engineering, design, development and operation of successful Complex Systems which are the core of the AESS Field of Interest. These systems for space, air, ocean, or ground environments include but are not limited to navigation, avionics, mobile electric power and electronics, radar, sonar, telemetry, military, law-enforcement, automatic test, simulators, and command and control.
The AESS French Chapter animates locally the community composed from the Industry, Institutions and Research Centers and articulates with other IEEE Region 8 chapters, particularly in Europe.
Original, unpublished papers are solicited
Major topics of interest:
- Methods & techniques
o Synthetic environments, composing, architecture
o Virtualization, imaging scenes, reality rendering
o Reality augmentation, immersive technologies, issues with the 7 senses (view, feel, touch, taste, ear, physiologic feeling, psychological time),
o 3D, holographic laser projections
- Specific capabilities research
o imaging data exploitation (e.g. scientific space missions, sensors systems, etc.)
o cockpit, cabin, virtualized integrated command and control centers, ATC/ATM applications
