Congrès ISPRS 2020: Appel à tutoriels et sessions spéciales

Chers collègues,
Le 24ème congrès de l'ISPRS aura lieu à Nice en juin 2020: http://www.isprs2020-nice.com/
3000 personnes, plus de 2500 soumissions et une exposition industrielle de plus de 100 entreprises sont attendues.
Nous vous sollicitons d'ores et déjà pour l'organisation de tutoriels et de sessions thématiques, en parallèle des 5 sessions relatives aux 5 commissions (http://www2.isprs.org/commissions.html: Sensor systems, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Spatial Information Science, Education & Outreach.
Les propositions sont à remettre avant le 1er octobre 2019.

Tutoriels
Les tutoriels doivent fournir un panorama exhaustif d'un sujet particulier en lien avec la photogrammétrie, la télédétection ou les sciences de l'information spatiale. Un tutoriel de bon niveau doit être pédagogique sur le sujet et ne doit pas être une compilation de méthodes existantes. Le sujet doit être suffisamment pertinent pour attirer les membres de la communauté ISPRS: étudiants, chercheurs, utilisateurs des mondes académiques et industriels. Nous vous invitons à soumettre des propositions pour une durée d'une demi-journée ou d'une journée. Chaque soumission doit inclure une description complète du cours, le nom et le CV des proposants, le public visé et le nombre, ainsi qu'une distribution des ressources qui seront distribuées.
La date limite est le 1 Octobre 2019. Les propositions doivent être envoyées à tutorials@isprs2020-nice.com en format PDF (un seul document). La décision sera prise par le Comité Scientifique International du Congrès d'ici au 15 novembre.

Sessions thématiques
Les propositions doivent se focaliser sur des sujets non abordés ou insuffisamment abordés par les groupes de travails des 5 commissions techniques de l'ISPRS. Elles doivent mettre en valeur des sujets qui ont émergé ou qui ont gagné une importance majeure depuis le congrès de 2016. Le but est d'attirer des experts portant des méthodes ou applications novatrices pour qu'elles soient présentées devant un public large.
Chaque proposition doit contenir un titre, des mots-clés, un résumé du sujet (1/2 page) mettant en exergue son importance et son lien avec les missions de l'ISPRS, le nom et le CV des proposants aussi qu'une liste de contributeurs ayant accepté de contribuer.
La date limite est le 1 Octobre 2019. Les propositions sont à envoyer à sessions@isprs2020-nice.com en format PDF (un seul document). La décision sera prise par le Comité Scientifique International du Congrès d'ici au 15 novembre.

Call for Tutorials
We solicit proposals for Tutorials. The floor is open to all.
Short courses and tutorials will be held on Sunday 14 June, the day before the main program. Tutorials should give a comprehensive overview or a basic understanding of a specific topic related to photogrammetry, remote sensing, and spatial information sciences. A good tutorial should be educational rather than just a compendium of existing methods. The topic should be sufficiently relevant and important to attract significant interest from the ISPRS community : graduate students, researchers, and practitioners from both academia and industry.
We invite proposals for both half-day and full-day courses. Each submission must include a full course description, the name and CV of the proponents, the expected target audience and number, as well as a description of the resources that will be distributed.
The deadline is 1 October 2019. Proposals should be sent to tutorials@isprs2020-nice.com in PDF format (a single document). Decisions will be taken by the International Science Committee of the Congress by 15 November 2019.

Call for Thematic Sessions
We solicit proposals for Thematic Sessions. The floor is open to all.
Submissions should focus on topics which are not explicitly or insufficiently addressed by the individual ISPRS Working Groups of the five Technical Commissions. They should highlight topics in photogrammetry, remote sensing and spatial information sciences that have newly appeared and/or have reached a significant importance since the XXIII ISPRS Congress in Prague (2016). The goal of a thematic session is to attract specialists with modern methods, themes and applications to present their results to a large ISPRS audience.
Each application must include a title, keywords, a short abstract of the topic (1/2 page) stressing its importance and its relation to the ISPRS missions, the name and CV of the applicants, as well as a tentative list of full papers/authors.
The deadline is 1 October 2019. Proposals should be sent to sessions@isprs2020-nice.com in a single PDF file
An acceptance/rejection decision for thematic sessions will be decided by the International Programme Committee of the Congress by 15 November 2019.
