New microscopy for cell biology

18 Juillet 2022

Catégorie : Journée d étude

The three GDRs AQV (Quantitative approaches to living systems), IMABIO(Imaging in Biology)and ISIS (Information, Signal, Image et ViSion) are organizing a joint workshop on the 13th of December 2022 at Institut Jacques Monod in Paris on new microscopies in cell and developmental biology. The goal is to gather scientists from biology, physical engineering, and data science to discuss new computational imaging strategies to:

i- Measure physical descriptors such as strain, stress, or the structural organization of cells;
ii- Improve the resolution of optical microscopes;
iii-Make smart microscopes that are more efficient in terms of light dose and speed;
To reach these goals, concepts such as co-design, inversion algorithm and artificial intelligence will be discussed, among other approaches.
Confirmed speakers:
Andrea Bassi, politecnico di Milano
Gregory Batt, Institut Pasteur, Paris
Sophie Brasselet, Aix Marseille université
Alba Diz-munoz, EMBL, Heidelberg
Jonathan Dong, EPFL, Lausanne
Benoit Ladoux, Institut Jacques Monod, Paris
Anne Sentenac, Aix Marseille université

Oral presentations and posters will also be selected from the submitted abstracts. Registration for the event - free of charge- will be open in September at this address:
