This is the first edition of our Summer School outside of France, going to South America in synchrony with the IEEE SPS-EMBS ISBI Conference in Colombia.

The spirit of our Summer School was established in French Brittany in 1994 [by Christian ROUX and Jean-Louis COATRIEUX]. This Summer School has become a worldwide reference with international lecturers from 20 countries and accessible to young scientists from all around the world. Our Summer School is an open yet privileged place for exchanges and discussions on major on-going research and technologies. Informal and warm, we always select a location and design a program where ample time is dedicated to interactions between lecturers and students.

The Summer School is open to graduate students (MSc., PhD), post doctoral scientists, radiologists, biologists, researchers and engineers in industry.

The 15th of this Summer School is aimed at offering to the best young researchers (PhD students, Post-doctorate, Engineers from industry, Physicians) involved in biomedical imaging an exceptional opportunity to meet, discuss and learn from leading lecturers in an informal atmosphere. This intensive working week takes place in a secluded resort, few kilometers away from Cartegana airport and close to the ISBI conference location.

Participants will be expected to attend all lectures and present their research work through Posters. The number of attendees (traditionally coming from more than 25 countries all over the world) is strictly limited (40) and applications must be submitted as early as possible (the deadline being Feb 20th, 2023). An international committee will select the candidates by Feb 27th. Participants are encouraged to present their research work through Posters.

The registration fee is 800 € (Euros). It includes full teaching courses, accommodation, catering, and the School book published in the IEEE-EMBS Book Series.
