About AWT Lab: Huawei Advanced Wireless Technology Lab, Paris, has been settled in 2014. After having participated to 5G standardization, AWT Lab is now doing research on 6G in the areas of applied mathematics and algorithms. Advanced new research topics as well as more traditional ones are being done in our Lab. MIMO, massive access, Integrated Sensing and Communication, distributed learning, semantic information and communication, low-complexity neural networks are at the heart of AWT Lab. About the position

This permanent position is aimed at developing key physical-layer signal designs and algorithmic solutions for mobile wireless communications with massively many users. This will include the development of new algorithms and theoretical foundations of tensor signal processing related to the modelling of wireless signaling, as well as the implementation of the developed solutions for numerical evaluation and validation.

 

Required skills and qualities:

• · Strong knowledge in tensor signal processing;
• · Advanced level in some of the following areas: information and signal processing theory, coding theory, physical layer algorithm design;
• · Notions in machine learning principles would be a plus;
• · Familiarity with programming in Matlab, Octave or Python;
• · Solid mathematical background and analytical reasoning;
• · Agile, problem solving, teamwork spirit;

Required qualification

• · PhD degree in a related field.
