Two postdoctoral researcher positions are available on the following topics:

1. Physical layer security for 6G (12 months initial contract + a possible extension by another 18 months)

2. Semantic and goal oriented communications (fixed term 18 months contract)


Applications are sought from candidates with an outstanding academic background who have completed their PhD, or, are close to completion. Desired expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Physical layer security
  • Semantic and goal-oriented communications
  • Machine learning,artificial intelligence, on-line learning
  • Trustworthy and resilient wireless systems,5G/6G

Strong mathematical and programming skills are essential, demonstrable by a solid publication record. Experience in proposal preparation / management will be highly appreciated. Regular interaction with PhD students working on closely related topics and international collaborators is foreseen.

Aboutt heopportunity and us

The postdoctoral researchers will join the ETIS Laboratory UMR 8051 and will work under the supervision of Pr. Arsenia (Ersi) Chorti.Theywill be located at the École Nationale Supérieure de l'Électronique et de ses Applications (ENSEA GrandeEcole) at the outskirt so fParis (line RER A, station Cergy Prefecture) in France. Renumeration follows the standard French salary scales for postdoctoral reseacrhers.

About you

In addition to academic credentials, strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, manage resources and prioritize tasks to achieve project outcomes will be appreciated. A very good knowledge of the English language is required. Knowledge of French is not a pre-requisite.
